InstantFreeCV (instantfreecv.com) is a free, browser-based resume builder. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
We do not store your resume data on any server. All content you enter (name, experience, education, etc.) exists only in your browser's memory and is permanently discarded when you close the tab.
When you use the Share Resume feature, your resume data is encoded directly into the URL using Base64 encoding — it is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Anyone with the link can decode and view it, so only share with people you trust.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate, anonymised usage patterns such as page views, session duration, and country. This data does not personally identify you. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We display advertisements served by Google AdSense to keep InstantFreeCV free for all users. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings.
InstantFreeCV itself does not set any cookies. Third-party services (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) may set their own cookies as described in Google's privacy policy.
Your resume may contain links to LinkedIn, personal websites, or other external sites. InstantFreeCV is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
InstantFreeCV is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
